| In January 2000, FRP expanded its responsibilities to include the management of the southern real estate division which includes mining and rental properties.
Assistance in the management of the southern assets is provided by employees of Florida Rock Industries, now Vulcan Materials. FRP receives mining royalties from the sale of aggregate from our mining lands. Royalty revenues are also determined by remaining reserves, leases, and timber sales. There are currently twenty-six properties in this division located in D.C. (2), Virginia (2), Georgia (7) and Florida (15). |
