David H. deVilliers, Jr.
David deVilliers, Jr. is the President and Chief Operating Officer of both FRP Development Corp. and Florida Rock Properties, Inc. He has served in these capacities since the creation of FRP Development since its inception in 1989. He has over 40 years of experience in all phases of residential and commercial real estate development, including acquisition, entitlements, infrastructure construction, building construction, leasing/sales, and property management.
In addition to the oversight of our organization, his responsibilities include property selection, negotiation of price and terms, and entitlement/re-zoning. In addition to his leadership skills, David has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Graduate of the Realtors Institute in 1981; held a Maryland Real Estate Salesmen’s license since 1974 and subsequent Broker’s license since 1988. David has been a member of NAIOP’s Developers Council since 2005. David was elected President of FRP Holdings, Inc. in February 2015.

Vice President of Leasing, Acquisitions & Development
David deVilliers, III, Vice President of Leasing Acquisitions & Development, joined FRP Development Corp. / Florida Rock Properties, Inc. full-time in 2001 to supplement the construction and land development divisions. His development experience began with managing and constructing shell buildings, assisting in land acquisitions and developments, and facilitating tenant improvement projects. In 2008, David was tasked with overseeing all building, tenant, land, leasing, and acquisition projects. Since 2008, David has negotiated new and existing tenant deals totaling more than 3.6 million square feet from Southern Delaware to Northern Virginia and lead the construction of more than 750,000 square feet. David has a Bachelor of Arts Economics degree from Denison University and a Masters of Business Administration degree with a finance concentration from Loyola University.
